FAQs

How often should I schedule a pedicure?

For healthy and beautiful nails, it's recommended to have a pedicure every 2-3 weeks. This is because dirt, bacteria, and fungi can easily accumulate and cause issues. Regular pedicures will keep your feet healthy and in good condition.

Is it safe to get a pedicure if I have ingrown toes?

If you have ingrown toenails, it's best to avoid pedicures as there is a high risk of infection. However, regular pedicures can help prevent ingrown toenails from developing. If your condition is severe, we recommend visiting a podiatrist for professional care.

Do you offer artificial nail services?

Yes, we specialize in acrylic nails, dipping powder, hybrid, and hard gel enhancements. We only provide maintenance and repair services to existing clients and cannot be held responsible for the work and products of other nail salons or technicians.

Will enhancements harm my natural nails?

When applied and maintained correctly, enhancements should not cause harm to your natural nails. However, it's important to have them maintained regularly, typically every 2 weeks, to prevent damage.

Is there a risk of skin cancer from the lights used for gel nails?

No, the LED lights used for gel nails are safe when used as directed. The FDA has even regulated these lights, stating that daily exposure for 36 minutes is below the occupational exposure limits for UV radiation.

How do I remove gel nail polish?

Gel nail polish removal is best done by a professional in a salon. Do not try to remove it yourself by scratching or scraping as this can harm your nail bed. While it is possible to remove gel nail polish at home, it requires careful attention and precision. We recommend having it removed in a nail salon for the best results.

Do I need a license to do my nails professionally?

Yes, in Florida, the Board of Cosmetology requires all businesses providing beauty services and all service providers to have a valid license. Clients can easily verify the licenses of both the establishment and the individual service providers online.

Can I bring my children with me when I go to NiNi Nail Salon?

Children are only permitted in the salon when they are receiving a service. For safety reasons, no children under the age of 10 are allowed to accompany their parents during service. NiNi Nail Salon does not have the facilities to care for children and does not want to compromise the relaxation of its guests. Children need to be able to sit still during their appointment so that the nail artist can perform a quality service.

Does NiNi Nail Salon offer gift cards?

Yes, NiNi Nail Salon offers gift cards that are perfect for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day. The gift cards do not expire and there are no fees associated with them. However, they should be treated as cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
